2. Nutrition Works Alongside Your Doctor
I'm a nutritionist (M.Sc. Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics), a Certified Diabetes Educator and a certified PCOS coach. I'm not a medical doctor. Personalised plans are designed to support the treatment you receive from your doctor, never to replace it.
- Never stop, start or change a medication, including insulin and thyroid tablets, without talking to your doctor.
- If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, have diabetes, heart, kidney or liver disease, an eating disorder, or are recovering from surgery, please follow your plan under your doctor's supervision.
- Tell me about every allergy, intolerance and medication. A plan can only account for what it knows.
3. Emergencies
This practice doesn't provide emergency care. WhatsApp messages aren't monitored around the clock. If you feel unwell, have very high or very low blood sugar, chest pain or any other urgent symptom, call 112 or go to your nearest hospital straight away.
4. Results Vary
The experiences shared on this website are individual. Your results will depend on your health, your history and how the plan fits your life, so no particular outcome is guaranteed.
5. Nutrigenomics and Tests
Gene-based nutrition is a growing field. Gene and lab test results are used to personalise advice, not to diagnose disease. A gene test is never required to work with me, and I'll only suggest one if it's likely to be useful for you.
